More New News for SCRR at Le Mans 2015

As June draws closer so does our deadline. Our deadline to take Le Mans by storm. We've had some debate / issues with the ACO this year about racing classes. Our usual m.o is to take a Lychgate fitted rally car and enter that - however, the ACO won't allow it. Dicks.

 As Le Mans is about endurance, we have once again moved the goal posts - and we are entering 4 vehicles into the race!!! Each vehicle will assist the lead to victory:

Car 1 - Clio trophy (lead car. Interior, windows, controls removed)
Car 2 - X5 diesel (CUMmand vehicle carrying steering controls for Clio and diesel for the petrol Clio)
Car 3 - 330i (carrying aforementioned goal posts)
Car 4 - 525i (carrying wheels for Car 5)
Car 5 - N/A

SCR Racing Security Solutions

One of the most common questions we are asked here at SCR Racing is how customers can protect their vehicles.  The last thing people want is to invest thousands in one of our bespoke performance packages such as the Lychgate Screen Dump only to see their treasured car damaged or stolen at the end of it.

SCR Racing have tested a number of conventional security systems but none of the solutions on the market today have met our demanding standards.  For instance, an industry-approved engine immobilisers might prevent a thief from stealing your car, but does absolutely nothing to prevent him from re-offending.  At SCR Racing we are not happy with this form of compromise and are delighted to announce, after literally minutes of development, our own range of Advanced Intruder Deterrence Systems.  Which should not be confused with our performance enhancing Automated Injection Delivery System.  That's a mistake you'll only make once.  Although the result is much the same.

The range consists of three products to suit every budget:

The EVD Package.  Our entry-level system, this option favours simplicity over all else.  Which area has one of the lowest rates of car crime in the world?  That's right: West Africa.  By importing a local security consultant from this region and installing them in your passenger seat, you will benefit from a 24/7 deterrence feature that will make any potential thief think twice.  As an added bonus, even if your car is stolen there is a fair chance that the thief will not re-offend in the future.  £850, inc/not inc VAT. (Please be aware that this product does not come with an extended lifetime guarantee).

The Hot Seat.  You know those South African security systems that mount flamethrowers outside the vehicle to roast an intruder as they approach?  Those are crazy, and dangerous: anybody could get hurt as they walk past, and there is no way of controlling the effect radius of the system.  However, we have found a way to combine the high deterrence factor of such systems with a socially-responsible approach.  Short-burn, internally focused deterrence fed by two 600-litre kerosene tanks mounted on the roof: no thief will mess with that.  For added protection, the system will automatically activate whenever certain randomly-chosen cabin controls are operated, ensuring the intruder cannot even listen to your radio in safety.  Guaranteed to give you that warm, toasty, occasionally searingly hot feeling of security.  £1,670, inc/not inc VAT.  Absolutely no refunds available.  System de-activation switch is an optional extra (£8,959).

The 180-Second Challenge.  This is our premier system, operating on a two-tier approach.  Firstly, our prominently-displayed dashboard Facia-mounted Highly Graphic Reinforcement deterrence option (Fac-HGR) will make even the most determined thief think twice before entering your vehicle.  For those foolhardy souls that do get in, the Fac-HGR will ensure that they are swiftly rendered harmless and temporarily insensible.  On coming to, they will find that they have been relocated to our bespoke rehabilitation unit, where they will have access to our large-scale indoor rehab bay in which they will undergo our ground-breaking 180-second long programme.  This takes the form of an intensive one-on-one session with one of our two expert consultants.  Those who come through the programme successfully will find themselves thoroughly changed by the experience, and we can promise you that returning to car theft will be the very last thing on their minds.  £3,650, inc/not inc VAT.  Installation free; removal can prove problematic.

SCR Racing: Countdown to Le Mans

In order to celebrate both our return to the Co2 output world, and the 1st ever Le Mans 24 hour race, we are entering the race ourselves. This will coincide with our consultancy stand at the Bleu Sud campsite from the 12-15 June 2015.

SCRR Inconsistency Director Charles Anders gave a brief insight into the team's motivation for 2015 at Le Mans.

"In 2007 there was no time. In 2012 there was even less. Now, in 2015 there is even less no time. And no time."



SCRR have started testing their AirTank-BZRD car with other LMP1 teams and the results thus far would make aviation firms gasp. More soon. More time. Less time. No time.

SCR Racing NSX

SCR Racing are proud to announce that they are entering this years Time Attack competition as a Pro Class competitor.

For those unfamiliar, The Time Attack Series is dedicated to representing the aftermarket scene and to providing a relevant motorsport to those within the scene.

It was a logical decision for SCR Racing to enter and we decided to 'Ass Smash' one of our motors and create the 2010 CNT-NSX. As you would expect...we have built a monster...

The CNT-NSX has the following RDB PP modications:

NEW! Mosquito Mega Brake Kit!

SCR Racing are proud to present their latest performance brake upgrade. Suitable for fast road and trackday use, the Mosquito kit draws on our links to the aerospace industry.

Available for most performance cars (excluding all Audis), the package consists of two brake calipers, two 330mm grooved and drilled brake discs, two adaptor brackets, 1 set of special low-friction brake pads* and 1 set of braided brake lines. On the road the package performs exactly as you would expect given the name, providing splinter-sharp response and a nicely polished feel in all conditions. Even when hauling the SCR Racing 911 Turbo 750 RDB demonstrator car down from deep into triple figures, the Mosquito discs feel firmly rooted, while our bespoke braided brake lines ensure no pedal pressure is sapped away. Here's what our chief development driver, the late Johnas Tribekker, said about the Mosquito kit after a Nurburgring test lap:

"The stopping power is fantastic. The brakes just shaved speed off in the blink of an eye, and there wasn't even a hint of fade or any wooden feeling through the pedal. Standing on the brakes at the end of the pitlane straight it felt like the car had run head-on into a tree - just amazing!"

We are pleased to confirm that ultimate stopping power hasn't come at the expense of refinement, however. On the road the discs will perform with varnished smoothness even when cold, thanks in part to our unique 'conical ring' grooves, which dissipate heat much more effectively than standard groove patterns. The aerospace-influenced production process also results in superb quality, with each disc fully heat-treated and sanded prior to leaving the factory.

The Mosquito kit is available to fit most performance cars running 17in wheels or greater. Call for specific fitments for your car. Front kits start from £1,175 and rears from £865 (inc VAT)**

Hello there emission bandits!

2010 is shaping up to be another MEGA year for SCR Racing. Thanks to generous spending from our 'overlords' at The RFSA, the company is able to take 2010 by the horns. We have recently entered the digital age using Facetube and YouBook

SCR Racing Debut Public Show Triumph

SCR Racing are pleased to announce record 'new boy' profits after their launch at the UKs JapBash this year. Orders were taken by three enthusiasts who all wanted 'The Second 180' fitted to their vehicles - pictures to follow soon
